Its neighbour, Outwood Academy Ripon, is also highly regarded – providing secondary and Sixth Form education to 682 pupils through non-selective admissions, having achieved an Ofsted grade of ‘outstanding.’ Primary education also enjoys great success in Ripon, with St Wilfrid’s Catholic Primary School, Holy Trinity Church of England Junior School, Ripon Cathedral Church of England Primary School, Moorside Primary School and Nursery, and Sharow Church of England Primary School all achieving Ofsted grades of ‘outstanding’ and ‘good’.
